Flower Caring And Arrangement Tips You Should Know

It is not difficult to keep your flower arrangements fresh and professional once you receive them. Before we move on to caring for flowers and its arrangements, ensure to purchase good and quality flowers from online florists in Singapore or florist delivery services in Singapore. Ensure you know the type of flowers desired depending on its application.

Your flower arrangements can last longer than expected and keep the professional touch if you follow the following tips:
1. Keep them in tepid water with preservatives: Once you receive the flowers from online florist in Singapore or a florist delivery in Singapore, get a bucket, fill it with water, add preservatives and then place the flowers in the buckets.
Before putting the flowers in water, cut off the stem using a sharp knife if the flowers will sit a while before being arranged.
The fresh cut helps the stem absorb water better. You should also recut the stems before adding them to the arrangement and strip off leaves that fall below the water line.
In addition to that, you can use warm water for flowers with closed heads such as roses or ranunculus -- it helps them open fully. Leave these for a day or two before using them.
2. Use foam: Online florists in Singapore or florist delivery in Singapore can advise on which florist's foam to use to keep flowers in place and hydrated all the time. This prolongs their stay.
Soak the foam in 15 minutes before cutting it to fit the container. Water the foam every couple of days.
3. Mix large heavy flowers with smaller ones: Start by adding the large heavy flowers and turn them to ensure even placement on all the sides. Continue filling with smaller, airier blooms but leave enough space between the stems so each flower has enough room to shine.
4. Make bouquet one and half times taller than container: Ensure the width also balances the height.
5. Mix different textures and colors: A monochromatic arrangement with this combination is very interesting to look at.
